Suzuki Motorcycles India Pvt. Ltd has launched the 2019 Suzuki Gixxer 155 in India at INR Rs 1.02 lakh. The bike gets a complete design overhaul for 2019 along with a host of new features. Powering the 2019 Suzuki Gixxer is the same 155 cc SOHC, air-cooled mill, coupled to a 5-speed gearbox. The upgraded engine produces 14.8 Bhp of power and 14 Nm of torque. However, the engine now receives the fuel-air mixture by a fuel injector and not a carburetor. The engine now has 6 sensors: Oxygen sensor, Intake air pressure sensor, Intake air temperature sensor, Throttle position sensor, Engine temperature sensor, Crankshaft sensor. All of these combine to help the ECM judge the ratio of the appropriate fuel-air mixture in real-time.[gallery size="full" ids="10005,10006,10007,10008"]On the cosmetic front, the 2019 Suzuki Gixxer features a new, muscular fuel tank with sharp extensions, an LED headlight, a full-digital instrument console, and a sleek tail section. The fuel tank gets new extensions. The exhaust muffler has a new chrome tip. Colour options are limited to Black, Grey, and Blue. Other notable changes include a split seat which replaces the single-piece unit on the outgoing model and the addition of a tire hugger.
